Our passion for stand-up paddleboarding takes us beyond local waters. Each year, we travel to events in different cities and countries, proudly representing our club and connecting with the global SUP community. These international experiences allow us to challenge ourselves, grow our skills, and share unforgettable moments as a team. Whether we’re racing, exploring new coastlines, or taking part in environmental actions, every trip strengthens our bond and showcases our dedication to the sport.

11th Panhellenic SUP Championship 2026, Thessaloniki Greece
🇲🇰🇬🇷 Our Macedonian SUP Club proudly took part in the 11th Panhellenic Stand Up Paddle Championship & 1st Salonika SUP Challenge 2026 in Thessaloniki as the only club competing from outside Greece. 🌊
This was also the first event of the season for our club, officially opening our 2026 racing journey.
Over three days of racing in Sprint (100m), Technical (1000m), and Open Fun 5km, our paddlers delivered strong performances and valuable international experience.
Day 1 – Sprint 100m
Despite difficult weather conditions, Teodora Ristova secured 2nd 🥈 place out of 4 competitors with a time of 44:83. Due to the rough conditions, the rest of the team chose not to start.
Day 2 – Technical Race 1000m
Mirko Ristov finished 2nd 🥈 with 9:27:19, earning another podium for our team.
Teodora Ristova placed 4th 🏅 with 10:37:87, while Magdica Ristova finished 5th 🎖️ with 13:00:54.
Day 3 – Open Fun 5km
Mirko delivered a strong race, finishing 4th 🏅 place out of 11 men and 6th overall with 50:32:03.
Ande Jankov placed 7th 🎖️ place out of 11 men / 10th overall with 53:23:34.
In the women’s category, Teodora Ristova achieved 3rd 🥉 place out of 16 women with 52:19:06 and 8th overall.
Magdica Ristova finished 10th 🏅 place out of 16 women with 1:06:27 and 19th overall, while Rosana Stamenkova finished 11th 🎖️ place out of 16 women with 1:08:42 and 20th overall from total 27 competitors.
Across the event, our team secured three podium finishes, proudly representing Macedonia on the international stage. 🤙
Beyond the results, this weekend was about experience, friendship, and proving once again that Macedonian SUP keeps growing.

🏄 The Open Technical Race at the 1st Salonika SUP Challenge 2026 🇬🇷 was one of the most demanding disciplines of the weekend, featuring a tight 1000m course with multiple turns, technical sections, and constant tactical decisions. Athletes had to combine speed, balance, and precision from start to finish, making it a true test of skill and endurance on the water.
Strong performances from all paddlers in a highly technical and competitive race! 🤙

Kayak Fest Albania 2026 - Edition ||| Green & Blue PRESPA
🏕️ This weekend we meet great people at Kayak Fest Albania 2026, ||| Edition 🇦🇱 in Zrnovsko, near Pustec, as part of the Prespa region. Although the plan included more water activities, the weather was very windy, so the program was partially adjusted.
🏕 After arrival, we camped and enjoyed an evening of stargazing, which was a truly unique experience far away from city lights.
🌬️ The wind was strong throughout the entire weekend, so some of the activities were cancelled. One of them was the planned tour to Mal Grad island, which we will leave for another time.
🌊 Despite that, we paddled at Slivnica beach, where the conditions were calm and ideal for SUP, so we still managed to enjoy part of the water program.
🍲 During the festival there was also local food prepared on site by the organizers and the local community – a great opportunity to taste authentic Prespa cuisine and support local producers.
🌍 Additionally, the festival included a conference on cross-border cooperation between Macedonia, 🇲🇰 Albania, 🇦🇱 and Greece, 🇬🇷 with ideas for future joint outdoor routes across the entire Prespa region.
Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned, we still had a great adventure, explored part of Prespa, and once again confirmed how special this region is. 💙🏄♂️

Another unforgettable edition 6 of Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing brought together paddlers from across Europe on the crystal-clear waters of the UNESCO World Heritage Lake Ohrid.
We are incredibly proud that our club was once again represented by Teodora Ristova and Slobodan Jovanovski, both achieving remarkable milestones.

⭐ At just 15 years old, Teodora proved that age is just a number. She became the youngest Macedonian female paddler to complete the 23 km Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing on a hardboard, and only the second Macedonian woman ever to finish the crossing—following Rosana, who completed the challenge on an inflatable board in 2024. The future of Macedonian SUP is bright! 💙

🚀 Slobodan didn’t just finish as the fastest Macedonian paddler—he also broke the previous record set by Mirko in 2024, recording the fastest Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing time ever achieved by a Macedonian paddler and raising the bar for future generations.
Every race is more than a competition—it’s about determination, passion, and pushing your limits.
Congratulations to all athletes, organizers, volunteers, and supporters for another outstanding edition of Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing 2026. LAKE OHRID SUP CROSSING 2025 - Special 5th Edition
Always is good to see the SUP crew and some great SUPers from other countries around the world! 🌎
This year again our team @supclubveles was part of special 5th edition of L.O.S.C 2025 – Lake Ohrid Sup Crossing. This year we had 5 paddlers from our club in these categories:
🎖️ Our best SUPer paddler and overall winner from last year on L.O.S.C 2024 @mirko_ristov was part of the technical race 500 meters and 🔥 23km Race in inflatable 50+ man category and won 6th place in both races. 🏄♂️
🎖️ After adventure recreation category from last year on L.O.S.C 2024 this year our very good team player @gjore_atanasov was part of inflatable Elite man category and won 4th place. 🏄♂️
🎖️ Our new SUPer paddler @bobi.jovanovski.61 who joined our club this year as team member, for the first time he was part of 🔥 23km Race in inflatable 50+ man category and won 5th place in this race. 🏄♂️
💪 Although this year in inflatable category wasn’t separated per years, but we want to mentioned that from Macedonian paddlers, Bobi was 2nd place, Mirko was 3th place and Gjore was 5th place. 🇲🇰
👏 We have also two more paddlers, mother and daughter 🤙 SUPer paddlers in recreation category @magdicaristova1 and @teodora.ristova who participated for the first time on this challenge, both paddled 🔥26km from Sv.Naum to Ohrid city and won medals for successful crossing the lake at the main international event L.O.S.C 2025 – Lake Ohrid Sup Crossing in this special 5th edition, but special kudos for daughter Teodora who finished in this year as first Macedonian girl under 18 years old in this adventure. 🏄🏄♀️

ICF SUP WORLD CUP 2024 @agiosonsup event in the stunning Agios Nikolaos, Crete! Although our SUP club Veles @supclubveles from Macedonia couldn’t compete this time due to the absence of an inflatable board category, that didn’t stop us from fully supporting the athletes and soaking in the energy of the event. The atmosphere was incredible, and the performances were truly inspiring. 
A special highlight was reconnecting with our good friend Stelios Moustakalis @stelios_moustakalis, who’s been a loyal participant in the L.O.S.C events at Ohrid Lake, organized by Paddle Klub @paddleklub . It’s always great to catch up with fellow paddlers who share our passion!
